 Jacob grew up in Central Florida, where from an early age he learned to improvise and create his own sounds on his piano and keyboards. He continued his professional education in music by attending Florida State University to earn a degree from one of the nation’s most respected music programs.


From there, Jacob continued to hone his skills in music composition and audio engineering. At the age of 24 he began licensing his works for TV, Film, and Internet Media. 






Into 2023, he is continuing to work on new music while connecting with listeners worldwide.


Jacob LaVallee is an American composer, pianist, and producer, with successes in the music industry ranging from licensing deals with world brands such as Hewlett Packard, BP, Tim Hortons, to placing numerous tracks on the world’s top instrumental playlists hosted by Spotify, Youtube Music, Amazon Music, and Tidal, all while remaining an independent artist.

In 2016, he started to work on his new Modern Classical project, giving it 3 years of incubation before releasing it to the world in August of 2019. It didn’t take long for the genre’s gatekeepers to take notice. In January of 2020, Spotify started placing a number of Jacob’s tracks on their piano/instrumental playlists. Jacob's releases earned the following and consistent listenership of many thousands on the platform, gaining over 60 million streams between 2020 and 2022.
